Work. Workout. Rinse. Repeat.

Hey! Howdy, people!

Monday was juuuust fine.

Breakfast was cereal, banana slices, and almond milk. Simple.

Lunch was stir-fry. Leftover brown rice from Sunday, sautĂ©ed with fresh spinach, onion, and carrots. I made a sauce out of sesame oil, garlic, agave nectar, and Bragg’s Liquid Aminos.

Apple slices on the side.

The agave nectar, garlic, sesame oil, and Bragg’s (or soy sauce) combo is one I often use to marinate tofu, its delicious and pretty much fail-proof.

Halfway through the afternoon I had a snack.

Microwave Chocolate Peanut Butter and Oat Snack Bars from Love Veggies & Yoga.

These babies are awesome!!

SO easy and SO delicious. I intended on eating only one. LOL, yeah right! By the end of the day I had eaten the entire batch. Thankfully, this recipe makes only 3 bars, so it is somewhat portion controlled for those of us lacking in self-control ;)

After work I hit the gym. A 30 minute run on the treadmill followed by a 30 minute ab class. After not working out all weekend, it felt REALLY good.

Question for ya – do any of you get “popping” in your hips/groin when you do sit-ups, particularly bicycle sit-ups? It drives me nuts and is uncomfortable, so I usually skip the bicycle sit-ups during class. Is there any way to stop it?

Have a smooth Tuesday, peeps!
