Back to Our Regularly Scheduled Programming

After the long weekend, I was pretty happy to get back into my regular routine yesterday. I feel best following a normal schedule and routine. I eat better, sleep better, and stay on track with workouts. Not that I don’t appreciate weekends, but they totally throw me off.

Breakfast was nothing fancy. I was in a cereal mood.

Lunch wasn’t fancy either. Tortilla pizzas.

I topped two small La Tortilla Factory tortillas with tomato sauce, spinach, onion, broccoli, green olives, and nutritional yeast.

After work was gym time. I took a 15 minute ab class and then a 45 minute Zumba class. It was my first time taking Zumba and I was pretty disappointed. The teacher just wasn’t very good and it wasn’t at all challenging. Bummer. They offer it at other times with different teachers, so maybe I’ll try one of those.

On my way home from the gym, I stopped at Whole Foods for a few things. I left with 2 bags. Oops! I also grabbed a couple of sandwiches for us to have for dinner.

I had an Upton’s Naturals Vegan BLT Sandwich.

Plus some green sides. Green apple slices and Brussels sprouts. You can be darn sure I was the only one who ate the Brussels sprouts.

Oh, and here’s a video I took of Maddux yesterday. Every time we walk through the lobby of our building he does this. He likes the cold floor on his belly. Goofball.
