Hey, Babes!
Life’s been a little hectic this week. I’m trying to get a bunch of things taken care of before I go out of town for the weekend. You know how it goes.
Thanks, Whole Foods, for my dinners the past couple of nights.
Cause I haven’t felt like cooking at all. Must have used up my limited supply of creativity last week on the Pumpkin Ice Cream Bites. Although, I did manage to pull together a ridiculously easy fall decor project. Can’t take credit for this one, I got the idea from Thrifty Decor Chick. I used mini jars, though and I also slapped some ribbon on mine.
Now I just need to find a place to put them that Maddux can’t get to. I have NO idea what we are going to do when Christmas rolls around. I have visions of broken ornaments and chewed up tree branches.
Which reminds me, I need to change our answering machine message. Maddux was messing with the thing a few months ago and somehow hit record. The resulting message is me yelling “No!”, “Leave it!”, and “Bad dog!”. I’m sure the telemarketers love it.
Back to food. Here’s what I’ve been eating today. Can you tell I’m on a cooking strike?

Annie’s cereal, banana with peanut butter, and coffee with almond milk.
Squash soup and toast with Earth Balance and nutritional yeast. Gosh, I’m getting so fancy with my meals. Top Chef, here I come.
Plus some Fig Newmans. I had more then two, I’ll tell ya that right now.
Oh, almost forgot…
Happy Hump Day!!

Nothing wrong with a cooking strike now and then
I love the little decor trick, although I’d probably eat all the candycorn!

Thankfully I don’t like the stuff too much. Ryan likes it though, so I filled a separate candy dish with it so he keeps his hands out of my decorations
Those jars are too cute! Nothing says fall/Halloween like candy corn.
And hey, who needs cooking when you can have all that deliciousness without it?

Hahaha! Don’t worry, they aren’t real candles, they are LED candles!
I wish I had a whole foods near me. That looks so yum!
Those jars are adorable! It makes me want to make them… but I would just eat them so fast that I’d swallow the candle in the process

Love the cute candy corn jars. Though I’d have trouble keeping mine stocked with candy corn.
If I were rich enough I’d eat at the Whole Foods bar every day. Okay, not every day. But more often than I do now!
