I’m so annoyed right now, I just need to vent so I can get on with my day.
1.) I take my dog to the park on this gorgeous, sunny, fall morning only to find out there was a shooting there last night. And I don’t mean night as in 11pm or midnight, I mean dinnertime. Still light out. A shooting at the park where there were kids playing and dogs running around. Two gangs fighting over territory. Really? Really? And to top it off they decided to tag half the neighborhood. The poor homeowners were all outside this morning scrubbing their houses and garages. Are you f*ing kidding me? Get an education, get a job, and get a frickin’ life.
2.) I’m sure you’ve all heard about the tragedy involving the exotic, rare, and wild animals in Ohio. But, can anyone tell me – why on earth was this man allowed to have these animals in the first place? Come on, Ohio! Get your sh*t together! Yesterday, the governor ordered some temporary measures to tighten up the laws, but 50+ animals had to die for this to happen.

This beautiful leopard was one of the few survivors. Hopefully, in wake of this tragedy, local and national laws will be tightened so nothing like this can ever happen again.
Are you f*ing kidding me???
P.S. Look at Iowa. I’m so proud of my home state!
Ok, thanks for letting me vent. We all need to once in a while.
Anything you need to vent about?
And with that, I wish you all a great weekend!

I live in Lincoln Park and saw that shooting on the tribune website this morning. I couldn’t have put my feelings into better words than you did. So freakin ridiculous.
I know, it totally set me off! There were little league games being played there this morning…
Yeah I heard about #1 the other day – so sad that people are so low-life to ever do something like that. It’s really really sad.
#3 haha LOVE that poster I laughed when I saw it. It has me wondering what the hell is wrong with this country…

Ugh, so awful that there was violence in the daytime in an area where kids play! What are people thinking? I know you’re all in a gang and whatnot, but everyone must have some common sense.
And the map one is just sad. Come on America, quit being a tool.

Quit being a tool – I like it
I heard about the Ohio story in my psychology class and was so disgusted.
It honestly doesn’t make sense that in some states you are allowed to marry your cousin yet in others you can’t even marry your girl/boyfriend. Way to go America!

I couldn’t believe that story about the man in Ohio and his animals. But hey, great point about why was he allowed to have them in the first place- silly me never even thought about that.
Something to vent about? I’ve spent my entire weekend being sick grrrrr!

Bummer, hope you’re feeling better!
I can’t believe that shooting happened! So scary. And I was so sad when I heard about all those animals that had to shot because of that douche-bag. I totally agree with you – How is it possible that someone put him in charge of them in the first place?! So, so sad.

Thanks for being supportive. It really means a lot to Carrie and I. Those other states need to follow suit
You’re welcome! I got your back – that’s what big sisters are for.
And, hey you may be able to marry your beautiful girlfriend, but I…I can marry my cousin!! Yeehawww!!
ugh, good vents ~ so sorry to hear about the shooting in your neighborhood, that is so scary and NOT cool!

I wonder what the “certain circumstances” are for allowing a person to knowingly inbreed?
