Good Morning!
Here are the highlights of my weekend –
Ryan and I went out to dinner on Friday night. My outfit -
Sweater + leggings + boots. Easy, cozy, and comfortable.
We went to Piazza Bella, an Italian Restaurant in Roscoe Village.
A Peroni for him, a glass of wine for me, and bread for the both of us.
I had the Ravioli della Massaia “Ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach, sauteed in a fresh tomato sauce with Julianne peppers and leeks.”
Followed by an espresso.
The meal was excellent. I will say, though, that I will never again order an espresso after dinner. What was I thinking? I was up ALL night. Idiot.
Saturday night was Ryan’s 10 Year High School Reunion at a bar in Wicker Park. We started the night at a friend’s place and got to hangout with this little guy -
Elwood is Mini-English Bulldog puppy. Look at that face!
So stinkin’ cute. He still has puppy breath. Aww.
My outfit -
Nice pose, dork.
The boys -
Lots of plaid going on there, fellas
Then we headed to the bar and did the whole reunion thing. Old farts.
We weren’t out super late, but it was still nice having the extra hour to sleep in yesterday.
How’d you spend the extra hour? More sleep?

Love your outfits, especially the second one! Horizontal stripes on me would look horrendous…but so cute on you.
Clyde was at the Michigan/Iowa game on Saturday…perfect game for him to go to. Ha!

Oh, whatever are you crazy, you can totally wear horizontal stripes! Haha, I was thinking about Clyde when the Hawkeyes won!!
Love your boots! Where are they from?
Believe it or not, they are from Payless!
Payless has much nicer shoes these days! I went in the other day because I forgot socks for the gym. I found myself wanting half of the shoes in the store.

Loving your fall wardrobe! Very cute. Speaking of cute, Elwood is freaking adorable. You should have smuggled him home in your sweater. I’m sure Maddux would love to have a brother.
Oh, the thought of smuggling him home definitely crossed my mind
Love your style..those boots are AMAZING!! Payless?? Whaaaat?? haha
Sounds like you had an awesome weekend..mine was a super, super lazy one so hopefully I can redeem myself this coming up weekend! lol And hopefully the weather gets better too.

Nothing wrong with a lazy weekend once in a while! I’m in need of one – seems like we have stuff going on every. single. weekend. At least our Sundays are usually pretty low key.
Alright girl, fess up, where are the boots from? I love them! I’m so digging the foldover boot look especially in the taller shaft.
I spent my extra hour doing Sunday errands and chores…and maybe a bit of extra sleep

That’s so funny! My neighbor’s mini bulldog is named Elwood (but doesn’t look like the one in your picture) and we also live in WP… I guess the ‘hood is big enough for 2 Elwoods!
