Happy Sunday!
I’ve had a super weekend so far! For once, neither Ryan nor I had anything on the agenda. Last weekend was Thanksgiving and next weekend the Christmas parties start, so it was nice to have a weekend to relax in the middle of all the craziness.
Friday night we stayed in, ordered take-out and watched a movie.
I had Pad Thai with tofu from Hot Woks Cool Sushi. Good stuff. The lime is key.
We watched Due Date, which we both thought was pretty darn funny. Zach Galifianakis was hilarious, as usual, but I really liked Robert Downey Jr.’s character. Cracked me up.
Yesterday, I went to the Renegade Craft Fair with a couple of friends.
There were over 150 venders and the place was packed! The hipsters were out in droves. Skinny jeans and mustaches, baby.
I bought some peppermint gelato.
It was from Black Dog Gelato, which makes artisanal gelato and sorbets. I really wanted to try the goat cheese-cashew caramel, but they were all out (bummer!). Oh, and I ended up dropping half of that cone on my friend’s jacket, my pants, shoes, and the ground. Idiot.
I saw these coffee cup sleeves –
Aww, thanks! LOL. These were being sold by Cussing Cozies. Totally filthy and hilarious.
Besides the gelato, I didn’t buy anything. It was hot, crowded, and I didn’t feel like lugging my purchases around for the rest of the afternoon. I will, however, be checking a bunch of the artists out online here.
This morning, Ryan and I cleaned the hell out of our place. Top to bottom. In addition to cleaning the bathroom, we cleared out underneath the sink and tossed out expired medications. I organized my makeup and hair products. I also went through my jewelry and found a lot to give away. Feels good to have the place totally clean and organized.
Now we are taking it easy on the couch and watching the Bears. I’m thinking about doing some baking and maybe hitting up the gym taking a nap.
Have a great Sunday!

Sounds like you’re having a great weekend! We really didn’t have too much on our agenda this weekend and I got SO much stuff done. I need weekends like this once in a while!

I know, right? I was SO productive this weekend. Usually the weekends fly by, but this weekend seemed a little longer since I wasn’t running around too much and had time to actually sit and enjoy it
Hahaha, that cozie is so funny. And insulting.
I love going to those kinds of events, but like you, I rarely buy anything. Unless it is food

Sounds like a fabulous weekend. I was meaning to check out the Renegade Craft Fair, but between the Glitter Holiday Shopping event and the One of A Kind Show I had my fill of holiday events for the weekend. I have yet to try Black Dog and must try it next time I get a hankering for something sweet – I love peppermint ice cream!

I love the low-key weekends – they totally help recharge the batteries. I adore Hot Woks Cool Sushi – amazing food. I’ve never been to the Renegade Craft Fair but it looks like a bit of a zoo. I’m glad I passed on it this weekend – I was definitely not in the mood to fight with crowds. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Yeah, Hot Woks is so good. I usually get their vegetarian sushi – the Mega Vega roll is insane!
I had full intentions to go to that fair. Bummer.
Thanks for your note, Cait. So appreciated! Hope you’re having a good Monday.
