Hey, peeps!
Yesterday I found some protein powder I actually like. Shocking.

Tera’s Whey. I’ve been trying out different protein powders recently, but was unable to find one I liked until now. I’ve only tried vanilla and dark chocolate, but there are a bunch of other flavors – plain, blueberry, pomegranate cranberry, acai berry, wolfberry, yumberry. (I had to look up a wolfberry – it’s just another name for the goji berry. Looked up a yumberry, too. No idea.)
I made a spinach smoothie before kickboxing class today -

- 1 packet Tera’s Whey Fair Trade Dark Chocolate
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 large handfuls fresh spinach
Really good.
Anyone have any other suggestions for protein powder? (meathead!) I’ll probably buy a canister of Tera’s Whey from Amazon unless there is something else I should try first??

I really like PlantFusion protein powder. I picked it up on a whim at Vitamin Shoppe and it’s awesome. And vegan!
I’ve also tried Click but it gave me a stomachache. I might try it again though. If I’m out of PlantFusion I use Nutribiotics brown rice protein powder. A little grainy but the taste is decent. I’m going to have to try Teras Whey!

I’ve never tried that protein powder, but I never really heard good things in regards to whey protein powders. I use Sunwarrior, but was never crazy about the taste. Just got used to it over time!

Do you know if they sell single serving packets/samples of Sunwarrior anywhere?
I got to try Vega once and sorta loved the chocolate flavor… it was great in things other than just shakes. But I’m no expert… lol

So I have been dying to try protein powders but I never know what to add…can you just have the protein powder with almond milk or do you HAVE to add other stuff to make it eatable/drinkable? Do they keep you full for long?

You could mix with just almond milk if you like the taste of the protein. Some of the protein powders I’ve tried taste pretty gross, though so I think in those cases smoothies are your best bet (pea protein, ugh!). When I make smoothies they definitely keep me full for a while, but that’s probably also bc I add a whole banana plus a bunch of spinach!
I’ve only tried the CVS brand vanilla whey powder, because, let’s be real, it was cheaper than name brand. But I like it!
