Hard to believe I’m already halfway through the Farrell’s Extreme BodyShaping program. We had our 5 week testing yesterday morning. Here are my results and how they compare to where I was when I started:

I’m more than happy with my measurements and body fat %. I really just wanted to lose some of the junk in my trunk – and I did, 1.5 inches worth!
But what I’m super stoked about is my fitness progress!!

I’m actually shocked about how much I improved in only 5 weeks. I nearly doubled my push-ups. I never, ever, dreamed I would be able to do that many push-ups. Insane. Honestly, I don’t know what came over me. I mean, what?? I guess I should never underestimate what my body is capable of.
Plan for the next five weeks:
I’m only halfway through the program and I’ve pretty much already reached both my size/measurements and fitness goals, so that’s pretty awesome. I’ve been slacking off in the nutrition area the past few weeks (my “free day” has been more like “free weekend”), but since I’m happy with where I’m at I’m just going to continue doing what I’m doing. Still need to drink more water. And as far as the gym goes, there will be no slacking in that department. I will continue to put my all into every workout and get the most out of the next 5 weeks.

Those are some great results for only 5 weeks! That’s crazy how your push-ups doubled! Can’t believe you can do 61 in a minute. Crahzay!

You did awesome with the fitness progress!! I really need to work on my push-ups. I only do them 1-2 times week and I always suck at them! I need to do them more often in order to get stronger!
Those are some awesome results!!! Especially on the fitness front. It’ll be fun to see where you finish at the end!

Wow Cait! That is SO impressive for only doing this for 5 weeks!! Maybe after I am done with my 1/2 marathon, I can look into this! I want to lose a few inches off my stomach and this seems to be the perfect plan!!

You should! I’m having a blast and really enjoying it. Spring session enrollment starts March 5th and the classes start April 14th! I’m actually going to be continuing on in their maintenance program after my 10 weeks are over, so I’ll be there!

Wow, you go girl! I just hit the gym this morning for the first time since surgery, and it felt great! I’d love to do a program like this to whip me right back into shape
