Yesterday we went to brunch at one of my favorite spots – Victory’s Banner. It’s a very interesting place – the staff are students of meditation and the restaurant is a form of spiritual expression. Victory’s Banner is an entirely vegetarian restaurant. Ryan likes going there because he is a huge fan of their french toast. I like going there because I can eat everything on the menu!

It was pretty hot outside yesterday, but we found a table in the shade and sat outside anyway. Any chance I get to dine al fresco, I’ll take!

Ryan, of course, got the french toast. And I, of course, stole a few bites.

Real maple syrup. Yummy.

I had the tofu scramble. I chose spinach and onion to go with the marinated tofu. Potatoes and hearth bread came on the side. I ate almost everything!
We’ve eaten brunch at Victory’s Banner several times, but I would like to go back and try some of their non-breakfast menu items, such as the “Coconut-Peanut Veggie Wrap” and the “Neatloaf Dinner”. They have plenty of vegan options too. Last time we were there I had the Vegan French Toast and it was fantastic. Overall, a great brunch spot for vegetarians, vegans, and meat-eaters alike.
