Monday morning started out sunny, but the skies quickly darkened and we were hit with a crazy storm!
Hence the reason my breakfast photo looks like it was taken at night.

Special K with fresh strawberries and almond milk. Strawberries are way at the top of my favorite fruit list.
At lunchtime, Maddux and I took a walk. The storm had really made a mess of things…


Lunch was heavy on the veggies.

A Thomas’ Everything Bagel Thin topped with spinach and artichoke hummus, tomato, green pepper, onion, and spinach.

More veggies and more hummus on the side.

Plus a glass of almond milk. This was my kind of lunch.
After work, I was actually really excited to workout. Why?

New kicks, baby! I am loving the bright colors that are in right now. My workout consisted of a 25 minute run on the treadmill followed by a 30 minute ab class.
Dinner was thrown together in about 10 minutes. I sauteed Brussels sprouts then added some cannellini beans, s & p, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, a little bit of water, and nutritional yeast.

Ryan had a similar dinner, only instead of Brussels sprouts he had turkey meatballs. He won’t go near Brussels sprouts with a 10 foot pole. We also enjoyed some more strawberries on the side.

Seriously… I was in my office building when the storm hit and didn’t quite realize the extent of the damage until I was driving home! Limbs from trees were on top of cars all down my street… yikes

Cute shoes! I just got the super bright blue ones with neon pink bottoms that came out like last week.
Ohh, I bet those are cool looking! Love the bright colors!
I’m going to have to start adding raw veggies to my bagel thins. Such a great way to sneak some in!
